Original description, Meyrick 1890
Lich. lithina, n. sp.
Male 14 mm. Head, palpi, and thorax white, sprinkled with fuscous. Antennae white, annulated with fuscous, ciliations l. Abdomen whitish. Legs white, anterior pair dark fuscous. Forewings elongate, rather narrow, costa gently arched, apex round-pointed, hindmargin very obliquely rounded; 7 to apex; white, thinly and irregularly irrorated with black; a pale fuscous suffusion, forming a very indistinct blotch on anterior half of inner margin, a spot on inner margin before anal angle, a spot on costa beyond middle and another at 4/5, all very faint and obscure: cilia white, irrorated with fuscous, appearing to form obscure darker bars, with an irregular row of black points. Hindwings whitish, with a bluish tinge, veins and hind margin obscurely grey; cilia whitish, with faint traces of two grey lines.
Blackheath (3,500 feet), New South Wales; one specimen in January. (Meyrick, 1890).
